Opportunities To Get Involved

The exciting programme is co-designed by local people, for people living across North Lurgan and Drumgask and aims to help address mental and physical health and wellbeing issues through targeted training, assisting access to services, and helping people get access to support they need.

Specifically, this means practical support with:

Access to trained volunteer Befrienders
The development of Community Health Champions and access to that support
Dedicated training around drug awareness and support
Provision of themed health-related workshops
Targeted training opportunities (i.e. WRAP training)
Access to regular professional Counsellors / Counselling support locally
